Sunday Ratings: Hot Night for Football

All the action yesterday was found on the gridiron. A contest between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles helped NBC win the night in the demos. Meanwhile, an earlier game on CBS put the Eye network on top with the viewers.

Eli Manning of the NY Giants 8pm

Sunday Night Football (15.8 million, 6.0/13 in 18-49) got 1.6 million more cheering.
The Amazing Race (14.1 million, 3.6/9) got a nice boost from a football game overrun.
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (10.9 million, 3.5/8) was down 800,000.
The Simpsons (8.2 million, 3.9/10) was off by 4.3 million; King of the Hill (6.8 million, 3.3/8) fell by 1.8 million.
Valentine* (600,000, 0.2/0) lost 200,000.
