ABC’s Big Day Back on the Schedule
Finally, the ABC comedy Big Day—about a couple’s big wedding day—will be airing. The show was set to appear with the other new fall shows, but got the big bump when Ugly Betty took its time slot on Thursday evening. With all the buzz around Betty, Big Day had to take the back burner until ABC could figure out when to air it. Luckily for the show, it will be making it to the airwaves and not put on permanent hiatus.
Big Day stars Marla Sokoloff and Josh Cooke as the soon-to-be-newlyweds. The show’s big event plays out over the entire season, so every episode is a part of the “big day.” Rounding out the show are a cast of kooky relatives and friends, complete with plenty of physical comedy to really bring on the funny. Among the cast is Wendie Malick, playing Sokoloff’s character’s mom. Big Day premieres on November 28th at 9:00 PM.
