Chef Ramsay Brings “Kitchen Nightmares” to Fox

Share

Posted by Wendy Michaels Categories: Prime Time, Reality, BBC, FOX

Gordon Ramsay For those of you who can’t get enough of Hell’s Kitchen chef Gordon Ramsay, he’s cooking up (sorry, couldn’t resist) a whole new hellish reality kitchen show. This time around, Ramsay is developing a show called Kitchen Nightmares for Fox, the same network that brought you Hell’s Kitchen. In this unscripted series, Ramsay visits failing restaurants and gives them his brand of tough love by getting the eateries back on track. This show proves to be a full-scale restaurant makeover—from waitstaff, to chefs—and all in one week. The show begins production in February, and actually has been a successful show for BBC and BBC America.

Never fear though. Hell’s Kitchen will begin production later this month for its third season. You can expect it to air on Fox in the spring.

Excellent post. Ramsay’s kitchen Nightmares is one of my favorite shows. Mainly because it contains a huge amount of practical business advice. Not just for running a restaurant. The lessons Ramsay outlines can apply to any type of business. I’ve got all 4 seasons of the show on dvd and keep finding new pointers and ideas. Very useful.

Good stuff, in fact I just saw him at the Seascape restaurant, where they were filming the episodes for it.  I live nearby and heard he was there and of course had to go (even though I’ve never ate there before).  I’m looking forward to seeing the actual shows when they’re aired.

i hear kitchen nightmares is so funny it will make u crack up.  can’t wait to see it.  look out for the mixing bowl on the show.  i hear that will be the episode of the century!

peters episode was to over the top, it seemed like peter played to the camera. dillons episode was gross and martin is a dumb ass. mixing bowl has yet to air but based on the pre show buzz it has the best looking staff. What the hell is not that guys fault anyway? I bet it is his fault.  ” don’t talk to me like that”  nice voice sweetie.
Can’t wait to see this one, hope it is better than the first two.  Anyway the brittish version is better. Americans can’t take the heat. Get out of the Kitchen!

I agree with mark, the UK show is better, Gordon seems to be taken back a bit by the Americans attitude. However I was at the mixing bowl during
filming and all i saw was Chef Rasmay outside with this guy and all these signs and he seemed to be laughing so mabye this is the funnier episode.
On “extra” they said chef rasmay was kinder and more compansionate, I have yet to see that but I did see the guy with the signs on “extra” and they were actually both smiling.
Oh btw is it Dillons or Dillions someone screwed that one up!
