Contestants Announced for Dancing with the Stars 7

Dancing with the Stars

The official lineup for was announced earlier today by Tom Bergeron.

And while history has seen rumors proven horribly wrong, parts of this season’s list were accurately predicted long before.

For the show’s seventh installment, we’ll actually start off with an uneven 13 contestants. This will lead to a double-elimination in the reality hit’s very first week. We’ll also see the oldest and youngest performers in the program’s history.

  • Lance Bass (partner Lacey Schwimmer - former So You Think You Can Dance contestant): Former member of ‘N Sync
  • Rocco DiSpirito (partner Karina Smirnoff): Famous chef/restaurant owner
  • Maurice Greene (partner Cheryl Burke): Olympic gold medal sprinter from the 2000 Sydney Games
  • Cody Linley (partner Julianne Hough): 18-year-old actor from the Hannah Montana show
  • Ted McGinley (partner Inna Brayer - new dancer): Actor with a long TV history (Married with Children, Happy Days)
  • Jeffrey Ross (partner Edyta Sliwinska): Comedian and “Roastmaster General”

  • Cloris Leachman (partner Corky Ballas - Mark Ballas’ father): 82-year-old Oscar winner and Mary Tyler Moore Show star

  • Misty May-Treanor (partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy): Olympic gold medal beach volleyball player from the 2008 Beijing Games

Dancing with the Stars 7 kicks off on Monday, September 22 on ABC.
