Jessica Alba To Host MTV Music Awards
Sweet, sizzlin’, and sexy…Jessica Alba possesses many an asset that both women and men admire. Due to the popularity of this television/movie star, MTV likely made a good choice in naming her as host of their popular annual music awards show. Of course, Alba doesn’t really have any hosting or comedy experience…but will it matter? Even music haters will probably tune in, in the hopes of catching a glimpse of her in a bikini.
Alba (also a three-time nominee this year) is confident and looking forward to her duties: “It’s always a crazy, fun show, and I can’t wait to be right in the middle of the action,” the 25-year-old actress said Monday in a statement to The Associated Press.
MTV has gone all out in securing hosts for this awards show in the past, and most have boasted more comedy street cred than Alba. Just how important is the host when it comes to awards shows?
