Kristy Swanson Tackles Anna Nicole Role
Well, it was only a matter of time before a movie of the week about Anna Nicole Smith materialized. Well, we’re not there quite yet, but Law & Order: Criminal Intent will feature a character similar to Anna Nicole, with Kristy Swanson taking on the role. The episode airs May 8th, in one of their “ripped from the headlines” storylines. Here’s the kooky part, David Cross will be playing a Howard K. Stern-type character. I don’t think I’ve ever seen David Cross do anything dramatic, so it may be worth a peek just to see him. I mean, his comedic quirkiness on Mr. Show and Arrested Development have me wondering how he can even play such a straight role. While I never watch Law & Order, this may be just the time to tune in. I’m curious to see how Swanson and Cross pull it off.
