My Top Five Super Bowl Commercials

Share

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Sports, FOX, Video

Sadly, there were very few moments from last night’s that I will remember in the weeks to come.  (That is, of course, not including the wild game itself.)  But here are five that did give me a good chuckle:

Update: These (really) were not placed in any particular order.

1) The Doritos ‘Mouse Trap’ commercial

2) Will Ferrell/ Bud Light commercial

3) Charles Barkely/ T-Mobile commercial

4) Coke Floats commercial

5) Tide ‘Talking Stain’ commercial

What are your thoughts on last night’s ads?  Did any seem worthy of the pricey airtime?  Can you even remember anything beyond that crazy finish?

Are these in order? Because if so, you owe us an explanation as to why “Talking Stain” isn’t higher up on this list wink

All these ad are entertaining. Of them, I’d say the Tide ad was most responsible.

Oh, the Doritos Mousetrap ad actually aired for the first time during last year’s Super Bowl. It’s a favorite of mine, too.

I think the Tide stain commercial should have scored higher up, probably in the #2 spot.

As much as I loved the Coke ad, I think it’s blasphemy not to have the Godfather inspired Audi R8 ad up here. It was brilliant and that car makes me giddy.

No Etrade baby?  What about the Fedex pigeons?  Also, the Ironman movie looks like it might be awesome!  Here’s hoping Hollywood doesn’t screw it up!

My favorite out of those would have to be the Coke floats, i had seen that in movie theaters after this plenty of times, and i love every little second of them.
