90210: First Bombshells Dropped

returned to TV last night after a long mid-season break. For days, the promos titillated us, promising more drama, more twists and more shock. Did last night’s episode deliver?

After finding out that ’s Brenda Walsh can’t have kids (and might adopt - yowzah!), former druggie Adrianna Duncan (played by Jessica Lowndes) is preggers, half-brother Sean (Josh Henderson) was really a con man and that the cute cheerleader Christina Worthy (Lauren London) is a bisexual, it’s hard to imagine there could be more.

But rest assured, 90210 fans…there will be more.

The teen pregnancy storyline (which, ahem, contains certain parallels to the storyline featured on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager) will continue and apparently come to a head in a dramatic classroom scene appearing next week. Other stories will likewise begin to spiral, bringing with them all the zip code drama we’ve come to expect. And while one son may have been a false alarm, there’s no telling what the rest of the season might bring. A long-lost brother could still come onto the scene…but not before we get more juicy drama between main character Annie and new rival Naomi (Shenae Grimes and AnnaLynne McCord).

Would like to see more of Adriana’s story line.  She is the most believable actress on the show.
