Ramon Salcido was 28 when he murdered his wife, mother-in-law, two sisters-in-law and some of his co-workers at a Sonoma-area vineyard. He stabbed his three daughters, the oldest of which was four, and left them in a garbage dump.

After lying next to the body of her two dead sisters for 36 hours, Carmina was found with her throat slit end to end and one finger nearly sliced off. Some of her story unfolds in the video above.

According to reports, Carmina sang “Ave Maria” for her audition.
