Kara DioGuardi and Randy Jackson want Casey James to sing John Mayer’s “Daughters.” Simon Cowell chose Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” for Lee DeWyze (the rights of which, we’re told, are owned by Cowell himself). Ellen DeGeneres selected Paul McCartney’s “Maybe I’m Amazed” for Crystal Bowersox. The Top 3 will perform their songs on Tuesday’s performance episode.
