Ramiele MalubayDiminutive contestant Ramiele Malubay displayed more than the usual elimination emotion, but this endearing contestant will be remembered for more than her tearful exit. What did Ramiele have to say about her exit, her future plans, and her relationships with fellow Idols?

First things first, Malubay will do the Idol tour this summer. But when that’s all over, Ramiele plans to work toward her own career goals (possibly going to the Philippines to sing) and says she will move in with another AI contestant when the whole dog-and-pony show is over.

Maulbay connected quickly with Danny Noriega (who was ousted before making the Top 10), and plans to move in with him when the summer tour is all said and sung.

Ramiele - Elimination NightPeople will recall Malubay’s tearful exit for seasons to come, but fans of the show missed the backstage action. While Ramiele stood backstage when the cameras were turned off, Simon Cowell approached her to say “cry on my shoulder.” Cowell even comforted Ramiele, saying “it was the song choice.” Malubay called Simon “a really nice guy.”
