Bullrun: The Great Reality Show You Probably Don’t Know About

Looking for an adrenaline rush with your TV? Want something high-speed to kick your evening into high gear? The original series Bullrun has it all - speed, horsepower, an exciting race, team tension and drama, drama, drama. It’s even got Bill Goldberg.

Speed is one of those channels that’s pretty high up on the dial, putting Bullrun outside the cable reality loop. There is something of an feel to the format - teams of two are racing to a finish line to win. Each team strives to race between check points and eventually to a finish line at the end of the day. Bullrun, however, comes with its own unique twists and turns.

This road rally is three thousand miles long, each team competing in their own cars. No make or model is excluded from the contest - in this season, the cars include a Porsche, a Ford Shelby, a Pantera and a VW bus. At the end of each leg (which usually range from six to eight hours of drive-time in length), there is one winning team and one losing team. The two teams who finish at the bottom will compete in the day’s challenge. A third team will be placed in the challenge by the winning team. Each challenge tests both members of the team - the driver and the navigator - and involves high-speed maneuvering to test each car’s mettle. At the end of each high-octane challenge event, the team with the longest challenge time is eliminated.

At the end of the entire Bullrun rally, only one team will remain. This pair of two will win $200,000 and the esteem of car lovers everywhere - not to mention the title of Bullrun champions. Each team of two is identified by their cars - Team Corvette, Team Avalanche, Team Ferrari, etc. - making this one very guy-friendly. The drama, the tensions and the turmoil of getting lost, driving on the edge of the rules and trying desperately to win give this series all the juicy reality entertainment women could want, too.

New episodes of Bullrun air on Speed TV Thursday nights at 10 EST.

Just have to remember that Speed runs on EST, not PST, so everything is 3 hours earlier than advertis. www.DIRECTSTARTV.com

Out here in Washington it's easy to find, and well worth looking for. Just have to remember that Speed runs on EST, not PST, so everything is 3 hours earlier than advertised. Unless of course you have a satellite, then it doesn''t really matter. :)

thanks for sharing.
