Dancing with the Stars 6: Week 6 Loser

Last night on Dancing with the Stars: Season 6, the remaining competitors each performed a style they had never yet done. When the points were totaled, four of the seven had reached new personal highs. Kristi got the season’s first perfect score, Cristián wowed with a refined Foxtrot (27), Mario sexed things up with a hot Rumba (28) and Marissa graced the floor with her Viennese Waltz (26).
Unfortunately, others in the pool didn’t fare as well. Jason Taylor’s slipped another 3 points (24), Marlee’s tied her season low (21) and Shannon moved up only a notch (24).
In the end, it was yesterday’s lowest scorer who was sent home tonight. The deaf actress, who struggled the past two weeks with the difficult Latin numbers, basically tied Marissa in the overall averages. (She had 22.33; Winokur is now at 22.) Although Matlin won the admiration and respect of everyone who watched her, she ultimately wanted to be judged on an equal playing field.
I honestly believe that if she had the ability to hear, Marlee would have given Kristi a run for her money.
