Friday Ratings: NBC Makes a Week End Mark

Up until now, CBS has traditionally dominated Friday nights with its Ghost Whisperer/Numb3rs combo. But could Jay Leno potentially change that? Although we’re still a week away from finding out, the program got off to a nice start this weekend. Primetime’s new 10:00 show helped give NBC a win in both the viewers and the demos.

  • (2.0/7 in 18-49) averaged 7.4 million over two hours.
  • Approximately 5 million watched the finale of (1.0/4).
  • Ghost Whisperer* (1.1/4) pulled in 4.6 million.
  • The 2009 (0.6/2) attracted 2.2 million.
  • Smallville* (0.6/2) dialed up 1.6 million.

  • Medium* (1.0/3 in 18-49) picked up 4.5 million.
  • Glee* (0.9/3) turned in 2.8 million.
  • The Beautiful Life: TBL* (0.5/2) rounded up 1.1 million.

10pm

  • (7.7 million, 2.1/7 in 18-49) had the best numbers of the night.
  • (1.4/5) collected 5.5 million.
  • Numb3rs* (1.0/3) scored 4.3 million.
