We’re getting closer and closer to the return of Glee, which will come back with a bang. Amber Riley, who plays Mercedes, promises that the episode will be “really big.” We’ve got info on the music, the guest stars and the casting that’s going on behind the scenes. No, the show isn’t doing a Justin Bieber episode … but, they are paying tribute to Michael Jackson. Riley confirms that Glee is definitely doing “Thriller,” “and it’s really good.” Check out the photo above!

Fans will also be treated, we think, to a moment from Rachel Berry’s past. We’re hearing that the show is casting for Jewish girls aged 12-to-14 to participate in a bat mitzvah scene. After some personal reflection from Berry, perhaps fans will be treated to a big solo from Lea Michele.

Gwyneth Paltrow is also returning to the show soon, this time to date Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison). “Those two have become really good friends in real life and had really good chemistry,” explained show co-creator and writer Ryan Murphy. “She’s coming back as a sex education teacher.” Paltrow will appear in episodes 15 and 16.

And now for the big news: Kristin Chenoweth, who plays April Rhodes, will also return during the end of the season. Time for another sensational Broadway number from our favorite Glee guest!
