HSM’s Monique Coleman Let Off Easy On ‘The View’

Monique ColemanI seriously hope that today’s episode of was taped like 3 days ago—because there is absolutely no reason why the Vanessa Hudgens issue should not have been addressed.  Today’s guest was star .  Needless to say, I made a concerted effort to watch hoping she would (awkwardly) say something on her co-star’s behalf.  But despite two, TWO, ripe opportunities for them to segue into the controversy, not one host—not even the blunt —brought the subject up.

When first asked why HSM is such a huge hit with fans, Coleman said “I think that’s it’s a positive message that fills a void.  There are so many girls that are doing ridiculous things in this industry right now that to see someone that is wholesome and doing something that’s good….parents can stand behind it, kids can watch it.  And you’ve got cute kids that are doing good things.”  Seriously, how could someone not make a crack on at least the

wholesome

part?

Then when asked if there would be an HSM3, Monique claimed all six co-stars would all be ‘absolutely interested’ but that it was just basically a matter of seeing if they could get all of them back together to do it again.  Uhh—how about the fact that maybe Disney might not

want

some of you guys to come back again now??

hi my name is alyssa kay perkins.and i love high school musical2.i love zac effron and vannessa ann hugens.they areawsom.o and my best frind hannah too.well when high scool musical2 came out and when it started we looked at the screen it was coming on.we scremed like heck.my mom said be quit.but we ceped screming.becasue we love you so much well i wish i could stop talking but i cant.so i well ceep talking.i really love your show.well know mymom is leaveing and she said if i dont come know i wont get the sd and the movie of you guys well talk to you again sometime soon.well bye bye.o i still love your show bye bye.

Thank GOD they didn’t ask Monique about Vanessa!  I’m so glad.  This was MONIQUE’s interview and I’d rather they focus on Monique! Vanessa, who keeps cancelling her own scheduled interviews, can make her own damn appearances to talk about what she did.

I’m so glad Monique got to meet one of her favorite people Whoopi.  Whoopi with Monique was so genuine and awesome.  I love Monique and she deserves better than to have to address someone else’s scandle.  Monique has a beautiful light to let shine all of her own!

When Zac, Ashley, Lucas, & Vanessa are interviewed they aren’t asked how FABULOUS Monique was on Dancing with the Stars, and they were in the audience as witnesses! 

I’m sick and tired of people asking Monique about the others, when clearly Monique is a talented young lady who deserves to be gushed over even more so than the others.
