Jennifer Hudson Shines at Super Bowl

Jennifer Hudson recently disappeared from the limelight after the tragic events surrounding her family occurred. Though she appeared in ads, she has not appeared in public since the headlines hit. But last night Hudson returned to center stage and the public eye in a big way. Hudson’s stirring performance of the National Anthem was at once powerful, prideful and heartbreaking - and her star is still definitely on the rise.

Despite her recent family tragedy, Jennifer Hudson has given the okay to The Gap to use her image in their “Shine Your Own Star” holiday advertising campaign. The singer/actress is pictured with her recognizable grin and a bright red sweater in the photos. The photos were taken last summer while Hudson was in New York.
