Marie Osmond Collapses on ‘Dancing With The Stars’

In tonight’s East Coast version of Dancing With The Stars, the viewers at home and in the ballroom witnessed a shocking moment. After performing her samba with partner Jonathan Roberts, competitor Marie Osmond fainted in front of a live audience. Later explaining that this sometimes happens when she gets winded, Osmond fell onto the floor while standing before the judges (luckily, Roberts was there to help break her fall).
The show immediately went to a commercial break while Marie was attended to by medics. Assuring them that she was fine, she and Jonathan later re-emerged to receive their final scores. (Read our later post about DWTS to get a breakdown of all the performances). It’s unclear at this time whether the West Coast broadcast will air the literal show-stopping moment.
