Mary-Kate teams up with Christina Applegate on Samantha Who?It looks as if the troubled half of the Olsen twins is truly back on her feet! Mary-Kate Olsen is returning to television again, guest starring on the ABC comedy Samantha Who?

After her 10 episode stint on Showtime’s hit series Weeds, the former child star is actually becoming an adult in the acting world (need I remind you of those straight-to-DVD movies and New York Minute?). After all, she did just turn 22… it’s about time!

The pint-sized actress plays a character who needs “saving” by Christina Applegate‘s title character. Sources say that although she has only been scheduled for one episode, everyone has been more than happy about her performance. Hopefully she can graduate to real films now!

The episode is scheduled to air this upcoming fall.

I feel like a lot of young celebrities these days aren’t doing too much with their careers lately. I mean, they all do have the talent, but they haven’t really “released” or have done anything these past few years or months. I think guest starring in a TV show will hopefully, help lots of these celebrities, such as Lindsay Lohan on Ugly Betty and now, Mary-Kate on Samantha Who.
