FOX’s decision to quickly replace Lone Star with veteran Lie to Me was validated in the ratings last night. Unfortunately, the move really didn’t make a difference in the overall rankings. ABC was still the winner in both the viewers and demos thanks to reality hit Dancing with the Stars.

8pm

• Dancing with the Stars (20.1 million, 4.3/11 in 18-49) slipped by 1.2 million.
• House (10.5 million, 3.9/11) added on 300,000.
• How I Met Your Mother (8.6 million, 3.4/10) lost 500,000; Rules of Engagement (8.5 million, 3.0/8) grew by 300,000.
• Chuck (5.4 million, 1.9/5) remained steady.
• 90210 (1.9 million, 1.0/3) was down a tick.

9pm

• Two and a Half Men (14.2 million, 4.5/11 in 18-49) raised another 300,000; Mike & Molly (12.3 million, 3.8/9) tacked on 1.2 million more.
• The Event  (7.5 million, 2.4/6) gave up 1.6 million.
• Lie to Me (6 million, 2.2/5) did 2.8 million better than Lone Star last week.
• Gossip Girl (2.1 million, 1.1/3) grew by 300,000.

10pm

• Hawaii Five-0 (12 million, 3.5/9 in 18-49) fell by 700,000.
• Castle (11.9 million, 3.0/8) picked up 800,000.
• Chase (5.8 million, 1.7/5) shrunk by 500,000.
