Although it’s been a while since we’ve seen Robin Sparkles on American television (she was discovered back in November 2006), fans won’t have to wait much longer.

Come April 21, How I Met Your Mother’s favorite Canadian pop star (a.k.a. Robin’s early years) will be showing us a much softer side.  Here’s a preview of her Debbie Gibson-esque ballad “Sandcastles in the Sand.” (Check out the other ‘80s icons in the clip.)
