Already itching to start a new TV season? Well here are a few of FOX shows scheduled to debut over 2009-2010.

Brothers
This half-hour comedy starring former New York Giant Michael Strahan will air on Fridays this fall. This lead-in (you can see the obvious similarities) focuses on a retired and financially-strapped football player who moves back home with his parents (Carl Weathers and The Shield‘s CCH Pounder). Daryl “Chill” Mitchell plays his wheelchair-bound brother.

The Cleveland Show
FOX’s latest animated contribution will get fit right at home on Sunday nights. The Cleveland Show - a spinoff of - has already been renewed for a second season. In the comedy, Cleveland Brown moves his son to a new town and weds his high-school sweetheart. The marriage also involves taking on two new step-children and colorful neighbors.


Human Target
If you like 24-style action, this midseason entry from executive producers McG (Terminator Salvation) and Simon West (Con Air) might be your cup of tea. Fringe‘s Mark Valley plays Christopher Chance, a private contractor who will become a “human target” to keep his clients alive. The comic book adaptation also stars Chi McBride (Pushing Daisies) and (Watchmen).


Sons of Tucson
Reaper‘s Tyler Labine has graduated from tackling demons to fathering children. In this comedy (scheduled to debut midseason), three boys hire a stand-in when their real father goes to jail. The freshman series is being helmed by ‘s Todd Holland.


Past Life
FOX has taken a page from and added a reincarnation twist. In this new drama from executive producer David Hudgins (Friday Night Lights), “past life” detectives solve mysteries with the help of those suffering past-life traumas. The show - starring Kelli Giddish, Nicholas Bishop and The West Wing‘s Richard Schiff - premieres midseason.
