‘Real Housewives’ Star Wants LeAnn Rimes to Join Cast
Brandi Glanville wants LeAnn Rimes to join the cast of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.
While the pair have been involved in a public and bitter feud over LeAnn's current and Brandi's former husband Eddie Cibrian, Brandi, 40, wants LeAnn to join the reality series in order to make her look better.
"Brandi is a very smart cookie and thinks that if LeAnn were to join the cast, the audience would hate her even more. Brandi loves playing the victim and having LeAnn on the show would allow her to continue in that role as the long-suffering, spurned ex-wife," a source said.
Brandi and Eddie - who have children Mason, nine, and Jake, five together - split up after LeAnn, 30 and 39-year-old Eddie had an affair.
It was recently revealed that The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills producers are also keen for LeAnn to join the show. "Producers have approached LeAnn multiple times about joining the cast and have been pursuing her even harder in recent weeks. Viewers are fascinated by Brandi, how she's dealt with her marriage being broken up by LeAnn, and the pain that continues to cause her and her family," a source said.
