Real World Packs Bags for Washington D.C.
A few weeks ago I said the Real Housewives franchise was coming dangerously close to becoming the next Real World. Who knew it was actually the other way around?
Weeks before the launch of Season 22, the producers of the MTV series announced their newest destination: Washington, D.C. That’s the same location Housewives will be hitting up next. Has President Obama started a trend?
“Young people have never been more engaged in what’s happening in this country and Washington, D.C., is the perfect place for The Real World cast to express their opinions and pursue their passions,” executive producer Jonathan Murray said in a statement.
Look for the nation’s capital edition to debut sometime in 2010. Meanwhile, Real World: Cancun premieres on June 24.

I think it is going to be a fun summer as news rolls in about the cast and what they are doing. DC has more bloggers than dogs so I suspect we will be getting the play by play on a minute by minute basis.
