Sunday Ratings: A Desperate ABC Wins

Okay - let’s try this again. After a week full of Nielsen ratings delays, we’re getting back to business. Thanks to a slate full of finales, CBS had a hold on the viewers last night. ABC, in the meantime, won the oh-so-important demos. (It should be noted though that both networks were beat in the 10:00 hour by NBC’s The Celebrity Apprentice.)

Joan Rivers 8pm

Approximately 10.4 million watched Tammy and Victor win The Amazing Race (3.0/9 in 18-49).
The Celebrity Apprentice (3.1/9) averaged 8.7 million over three hours.
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (2.6/8) nailed down 8.2 million.
The Simpsons (2.5/8) had 5.2 million laughing; King of the Hill (1.8/5) pulled in 4.1 million.
