Tina Fey Channels Palin on Saturday Night Live
Although Saturday Night Live was down one Barack Obama (he didn’t appear in light of Hurricane Ike), the audience was up one Tina Fey. As rumored, the former cast member returned to her old stomping grounds last night to portray her political look-alike: Sarah Palin.
In the hilarious opening sketch, Fey touched on several topics from the Charlie Gibson interview (her view of Russia, the Bush Doctrine). Meanwhile, Amy Poehler played an (understandably) jealous and bitter Hillary Clinton.

Can you honestly say you are being fair to these candidates, I believe NO! Let me ask you something if make fun of Palin, but allow Obama to come on the set and you praise him, is that fair or biased or what if it was opposite you praise Palin but not Obama, then would that be racist, of course… You need to start thinking about things instead of being biased towards someone because racism is on both sides, not just one!

Dead on comedy skit! and what is so truly funny is that fey didn’t have to go that “far to reach her chararcter”. One thing is obvious. Should McCain win…he and his running mate are going to provide “comedy” with some terrific material!
