After years of advising people how to make changes in their life, Dr. Phil McGraw publicly made a change of his own. On Friday’s episode of Oprah, the TV host did something he hadn’t done in approximately four decades- kiss a woman without a mustache on.

“For the first time in over 40 years - and I have two kids and they’ve never seen me without a mustache - I am going to take off my mustache,” he announced to the audience at Radio City Music Hall.
