After witnessing the insane vodka-induced, human trafficking dealings by a Russian mafia-run bath house (complete with Alexander McQueen) in the Bad Romance video, I had nearly forgotten about Lady Gaga’s scheduled appearance on Gossip Girl!

Despite her creative control with the episode, the sneak peek video shows that some hands definitely interfered with her outlandish ideas. On the other hand, she was promoting the show—she merely could have been talking it up to get non-Gossip Girl addicts to tune in. While she may think of her appearance as a “crazy performance art piece,” I don’t quite see it being as theatrical as I imagined.

That dress, however, is ridiculous.
