There’s nothing viewers like more than watching people give out money. Yesterday, FOX’s Secret Millionaire built upon last week’s numbers and won its hour in the demos. CBS, though, was the top network in both categories this Wednesday.

• The New Adventures of Old Christine (8.3 million, 2.2/7 in 18-49) hit a season high; Gary Unmarried (8 million, 2.4/7) maintained most if its lead-in.
• Secret Millionaire (7.2 million, 2.7/8) improved by 1/2 million.
• Pushing Daisies (5 million, 1.6/5) was up a notch.
• NBC‘s Little Spirit: Christmas In New York special (1.4/4) entertained 5 million.
• Stylista* (1.2 million, 0.4/1) was down slightly.

9pm

• Criminal Minds (14.7 million, 3.9/10 in 18-49) picked up 700,000.
• Private Practice (6.9 million, 2.4/6) was off by 900,000.
• Life (5.5 million, 1.8/5) did 2.6 million less than last week.
• Bones* (1.5/4) turned in 4.5 million.
• Stylista (1.3 million, 0.6/1) did about the same.

10pm

• CSI: NY (13.2 million, 3.5/10 in 18-49) added 9% more viewers.
• Law & Order (7.5 million, 2.2/6) gave up 3.8 million.
• Dirty Sexy Money (5.2 million, 1.8/5) shaved off 500,000.
