Moving into Melrose Place on September 8? If you do, get ready for hot sex scenes, delicious drama and familiar faces. At a recent Q&A, execs for the show revealed just enough juicy details to make TV viewers long for the end of summer.

For lovers of the original, Daphne Zuniga and Josie Bissett will both reprise their former Melrose roles - but don’t expect to see the same old stories. “Jane will not be victimized anymore,” this according to someone in-the-know. The new landlord of the complex will be another “familiar face,” which will be revealed in the fourth episode. Am I the only one who thinks Heather Locklear would be fantastic for the job?

The Place is also open for crossover possibilities. Being near the 90210 zip, it’s possible a little co-show action could result with cast members from one or the other. Imagine Jane (Bissett) becoming friends with Debbie Wilson (Lori Loughlin).
