Will Mad Men’s Jon Hamm Appear on 30 Rock?

Of all the cameos announced recently for 30 Rock (Jennifer Aniston, Oprah, Salma Hayek), I find this piece of news to be the most exciting.
Days after his hilarious performance on Saturday Night Live, it’s being reported that Jon Hamm may be loosening up his tie for the NBC comedy. According to Entertainment Weekly, the Mad Men star might set aside the suit to play Liz Lemon’s neighbor…and potential love interest.

If the rumors are true, Hamm’s off-cable guest appearance could last over several episodes. And who could fault Tina Fey for casting him? After all, he does know how to pick up on women.
