Paris Hilton  In her first public appearance since being released from jail, multi-millionaire heiress sat down in an intimate setting with Larry King, lots of TV cameras, and a live studio audience to discuss her changed outlook on life and how she’s adapting to freedom once more. She was expecting to be sentenced to community service, not jail, the day she walked into court to receive her sentencing for probation violations. Paris, clad in white, told King that she went through a really traumatic experience, and that she suffered from nightmares while incarcerated. King asked Hilton about the mysterious “medical condition” that led to her one-day respite from jail. While in jail, Paris Hilton said she wrote letters, meditated, and kept a journal. Somewhere along the way, she decided it was time for her to change her life. We’ll see how that pans out. Paris called her stint in jail a blessing in disguise. She says she’s cut a lot of people out of her life who may have been bad influences. Sounds like she’s becoming a better person already – what could be more noble than ditching one’s former friends?

Paris Hilton’s new philanthropic goals will include the opening of a halfway house for female inmates who need to make the transition between jail and the real world. After everything Miss Hilton has contributed to society – her books, “Confessions of an Heiress” and the manuscript purportedly penned by her dog Tinkerbell; her reality show The Simple Life; and he avant-guard approach to fashion – it’s amazing to contemplate that she could find ways to do more. Everyone hold your breath – Paris Hilton has announced she’s going to become a more positive role model. Let’s all just see what happens.
