The Bionic Woman Premieres Tonight

Michelle Ryan Bionic WomanStill struggling to find a ratings hit for the fall season, NBC has dipped into the cutting room closet to resurrect a show that failed in the first place. For some reason, I’m thinking the newly revamped Bionic Woman isn’t going to work. Call it intuition if you like, but I’m basing my prediction on the past. It didn’t work the first time. Why should it become a hit the second? This time, the Bionic Woman (Jaime) will be played by Michelle Ryan. She’s a pregnant bartender on her way to Paris. Then, the terrible automobile accident strikes, and Jaime is left sans limbs. Her boyfriend just happens to be part of a special ops prosthetic program, which he uses to secretly rebuild her. The result is a very pissed-off woman who uses her new bionic limbs to kick some serious butt. Will it last past one season? Check it out tonight at 9/8c on NBC and decide.
