Sunday Ratings: Football Outplays Survivor

Although it was pitted against a three-hour Survivor finale, last night’s game between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys was yesterday’s hottest ticket. The event gave NBC a double-win in the ratings yesterday.

Bob Crowley from Survivor: Gabon 8pm

Approximately 19.6 million watched the Cowboys pull out a win on Sunday Night Football (7.5/17 in 18-49).
Around 14.9 million watched Bob Crowley win Survivor: Gabon (4.5/10).
The Santa Clause 2 (2.7/7) had 8.7 million feeling jolly.
The Simpsons* (5.7 million, 2.5/6) was off by 500,000; King of the Hill* (2.0/5) pulled in 4.6 million.
CW‘s airing of Spaceballs (0.4/1) had 1.2 million laughing.
