Thursday Ratings: Lost Finds A Win

While it was down about 17% from last year’s numbers, Lost was still the night’s top draw. The season finale gave ABC a win in both the viewers and the demos.
8pm

- So You Think You Can Dance (9.4 million, 3.6/11 in 18-49) climbed by 800,000.
- Lost* (2.1/7) helped 6.8 million get caught up.
- The Big Bang Theory* (4.8 million, 1.4/5) improved by 500,000; How I Met Your Mother* (4.9 million, 1.5/5) tacked on another 400,000.
- The Office* (1.2/4) checked in with 3.5 million.
- Smallville* (1.9 million, 0.7/2) was down 300,000.

Lost and Prison Break are the best series I have ever watched.
The last 2 episodes in Lost are the best in this season, I can’t wait for season 5 next year. That will be long wait :(

It is really impressive that Big Bang Theory is still pulling some decent numbers coming off of its freshman season. What makes this even more impressive is that it is a repeat! I think a lot of people discovered the show after the writer’s strike, so they are wanting to go back and catch up. So perhaps this writers strike had some good in it afterall…
