Tuesday Ratings: Biggest Loser Gains Viewers

Could this be the Oprah effect? Or was it simply a result of New Year’s Resolutions? Whatever the reason, NBC’s The Biggest Loser had a sizable debut. The show helped the Peacock network win in the demos while CBS’ normally strong Wednesday lineup had a victory with the viewers.

  • (19.1 million, 3.7/10 in 18-49) had its second largest audience ever.
  • (11.8 million, 4.5/11) had its biggest debut to date.
  • The premiere of (2.3/6) attracted 7.8 million.
  • * (2.2/6) treated 5.6 million.
  • (1.4/4) returned to 2.8 million.

  • ’ ABC debut (6.7 million, 3.1/7) was up 25% from its NBC finale.
