Tuesday Ratings: FOX Sees Improvement

Although FOX has ruled Tuesday for quite some time, the network’s lineup has seen its ups and downs. This week, both American Idol and Hell’s Kitchen rebounded from recent ratings dips.
8pm
- American Idol (24 million, 8.6/24 in 18-49) grew by 2.8 million.
- NCIS (14.7 million, 3.0/9) improved by 900,000.
- According to Jim (1.4/4) settled in with 4.4 million.
- Most Outrageous Moments (4 million, 1.2/3) had a 200,000 decrease.
- Beauty and the Geek (1.5 million, 0.7/2) was down a notch.
9pm
- About 17 million saw Marissa Jaret Winokur sent home from Dancing with the Stars (4.1/10 in 18-49).
- Hell’s Kitchen (12.4 million, 5.5/14) fired up another 1.2 million.
- Shark (10.2 million, 2.1/5) was on par with last week.
- Law & Order: SVU* (6.1 million, 1.9/5) added another 2 million.
- Reaper (2 million, 0.9/2) sank by a 1/2 million.
10pm
- Law & Order: SVU (11.3 million, 3.8/10 in 18-49) climbed by 900,000.
- Women’s Murder Club (8.5 million, 2.1/6) soaked up another 500,000.
- Criminal Minds* (2.1/6) closed the night with 8.3 million.

idol is back! i knew it. theres no need to worry over at Fox. sure, some format changes could be needed for next season. but please DO Not mess with the chemistry! you just dont mess with the chemistry of the #1 show!
