American Gladiators’ ratings slide didn’t stop another reality competition from making a splashy debut yesterday. Last night, Wipeout had the best debut for any freshman summer series since last year. The show gave the ABC a win in the demos while NBC had a hold on the viewers.

I finished studying for my exams and decided to watch a little TV. I ended up watching the entire hour of Wipeout (absolutely hilarious, haha, it made me laugh pretty hard a couple of times) and when it was on commercials, I watched “Survived Japanese” and that was okay, not my favorite though. Also, I watched the first half of Hell’s Kitchen too! Wipeout looks like it’ll be a nice summer show and I’ll definitely catch it when I can. Everyone needs a good laugh now and then. LOL

I’ve seen the commercials from Wipeout and I thought I wouldn’t like it so I didn’t watch it, but not from all the good feedback that the show is getting I think that my thoughts have turned and that I’ll decide to watch it when the next episode is on. I hope it lives up to my expectations.
