Heidi and Spencer Still Want More
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Reality, Cable, MTV, The Hills, Gossip
The Hills stars Heidi and Spencer Pratt recently announced that they’d like to do their own reality show, one which focuses on them alone. They’re currently shopping the idea around to see if any networks are interested. The pair previously appeared on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. They left that series early - multiple times.
“You don’t get to see our everyday lives and what we do,” Heidi said, explaining why their current reality situation just won’t do. However, the two don’t plan on leaving The Hills - they want both. So far, MTV has declined to comment.

Getting Into Character: Gilles Marini on Nip/Tuck
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Cable, FX, Nip/Tuck, Gossip, Spoilers

We may have seen the last of Gilles Marini on Sex and the City, but that doesn’t mean we’ll be seeing less of the French hunk. (Well - if you take into consideration clothing, we will.)
Although Marini is currently playing Rachel’s boyfriend on Brothers & Sisters, he’s also moonlighting as the husband of Erica Noughton (Vanessa Redgrave) on Nip/Tuck. (You know—the show that likes a lot of skin.) Later this week, Gilles will begin a two-episode arc as the FX program’s latest bad boy.

Quote of the Day: Bill Clinton on Mad Men
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Cable, Gossip

“You ever watch that TV series Mad Men? If I keep watching this program, will I ever find a happy person? Great television. Good drama. But a lot of really painful reminders in that show about how black people were supposed to run the elevators… were supposed to ask permission before they get on an elevator. The way women were treated is appalling, and only occasionally funny to me.”
-Former President Bill Clinton speaking to a diverse crowd in Chicago about the 1960’s-set drama.

Jeff Dunham Show: Greatest Thing Since South Park?
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Comedy, Cable, Ratings

If you’ve watched anything on Comedy Central recently, chances are great that you’ve seen promos of some guy playing with a puppet - teasers for The Jeff Dunham Show, which premiered recently after a very extensive promotional campaign. Yes, I said puppet. Dunham is a ventriloquist. But if you think that’s bad…
Scoring a whopping 5+ million viewers, Jeff Dunham’s puppet routine became the biggest premiere Comedy Central has ever had. That’s the kind of power which could give the comedian South Park-type longevity on the cable channel…as much as that prospect scares me.
Seriously, are we into this now?
