Dancing with the Stars casting rumors have been flying fast and furious since our last post just three days ago.
Although I still wouldn’t be surprised to see some last-minute surprises from ABC, some reports appear more credible than others.

UPDATE: Find out the latest list of possible contenders here.
We are now less than a week away before the next Dancing with the Stars cast is announced—but do we have any idea who’s currently in the running?
According to the latest rumors (and supposed confirmations), the Season 11 roster may consist (once again) of reality stars, Bachelor vets, musicians and athletes. It may even involve a recent jail inmate. Although some names have been repeated more than once, ABC has been known to change things up at the very last minute.

UPDATE: Erin Andrews says she’s never received that so-called apology from Hasselbeck.
Seeing Elisabeth Hasselbeck cry is something we’re all used to by now. (Remember that heated debate with Whoopi Goldberg on the use of the “N-word”?) But it’s not often that we see The View co-host cry over something she did.
While discussing the latest Dancing with the Stars events yesterday, the outspoken conservative felt the need to speak out about contestant Erin Andrews’ ballroom wardrobe. Elisabeth - who was for some reason shocked by the amount of skin the contestant had been showing lately (does she not watch the show on a regular basis?) - thought it would be appropriate to bring up the ESPN reporter’s stalking scandal.
“I mean, in some way if I’m [Michael David Barrett], I’m like, ‘Man! I just could’ve waited 12 weeks and seen this — a little bit less — without the prison time!’” Hasselbeck joked.

Although the world should be used to seeing women parading around in their bras by now, there’s one thing Lane Bryant commercials have that Victoria’s Secret spots don’t: large breasts.
And when you have large breasts, you get lots of cleavage. And when you have lots of cleavage, you supposedly get banned by ABC and FOX.
According to Lane Bryant, a clothing company for full-figured women, both Victoria’s Secret-friendly networks rejected requests to air the ad. “It certainly appears to be discrimination against full-sized women,” one source told the New York Post. A Lane Bryant rep added. “There’s no difference other than they’re bigger girls.”
Needless to say, these accusations now have ABC and FOX both crying foul.

While I’m sure this will not be the last time you see the self-admitted “crybaby” reduced to tears, I do believe this will be the last time you see Kate Gosselin crying while wearing a gown her kids might have ripped up.
As you watch her give her final goodbye on last night’s Dancing with the Stars, ask yourself this: What did you believe more - Kate’s disappointment about being let go or Tony Dovolani’s sweet speech?

Pamela Anderson is forced to wear nipple covers to stop her exposing herself on Dancing with the Stars.
The former Baywatch actress - who is known for her busty, curvy figure - has been told to wear pasties by show bosses to make sure all her parts are kept hidden.
“I think the pasties arrive at every rehearsal and everywhere I go,” she told Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM. “They hand them to me. I don’t like them. They bother me and I burst through them anyway… it’s just a nipple!”
“Kate is pretty dreadful. She’s crap.”
-Dancing with the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli explaining to George Lopez that Kate Gosselin‘s horrible dancing is still good television entertainment.

After years of coming in no further than third place, you knew it was just a matter of time before Tony Dovolani revealed a crack in his “nice guy” facade. Unfortunately for Kate Gosselin, she was at the receiving end of his blow up during last night’s episode of Dancing with the Stars.
Question is: Did she give him reason to lose his cool—or was he simply being an impatient teacher? Since we only got to see a portion of their rehearsal session last night, our snap judgments are simply being based on a just a few seconds of television.
“Between, what is it, Pam Anderson and Evan Lysacek? Pam Anderson, she’s a little top-heavy. I think Evan’s gonna do very well. Plus, he’s an Olympic gold medalist!”
-Former ballroom champ Apolo Ohno explaining to Jay Leno why his fellow Olympian might fare better than the Baywatch babe on the new season of Dancing with the Stars.

Last night, ABC revealed the names making up the roster for Dancing with the Stars 10. Today, we learned how those 11 contestants will be paired up.
Although the list is significantly shorter than Season 9’s, the producers managed to squeeze in an entirely new professional (Damian Whitewood) and a familiar face (Ashly DelGrosso).
Analyze the new teams after the jump and give us your early predictions now! DWTS kicks off its new season on March 22.
