Last night, three reality shows (Wipeout, Hell’s Kitchen, America’s Got Talent) gave it all they had. When the dust settled, NBC had a hold on the viewers while ABC was tied with FOX for the demos.

American Gladiators’ ratings slide didn’t stop another reality competition from making a splashy debut yesterday. Last night, Wipeout had the best debut for any freshman summer series since last year. The show gave the ABC a win in the demos while NBC had a hold on the viewers.

Tuesday Ratings: Lakers Win Game and Viewers

Game 3 between the Boston Celtics and the LA Lakers overpowered FOX’s reality block. ABC wound up passing its competitors in both the viewers and the demos.
