Watch Saturday Night Live’s VP Debate Sketch

In the event you had better plans last night, here’s your chance to watch ‘s take on the Vice-Presidential Debate.

As mentioned earlier, Queen Latifah made a special appearance as moderator Gwen Ifill yesterday. Stepping up to play Joe Biden was cast member Jason Sudeikis. (Sudeikis also continued with his George Bush portrayal later in the same show.) And, as expected, Tina Fey resumed her role as Sarah Palin.

Those of you still playing the “maverick” drinking game better get your six-pack ready:

Thursday Ratings: VP Debate Sets Record

In addition to being last night’s big ticket, yesterday’s meeting between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden was the most-watched VP debate in history. But when divvied up over 11 different outlets, the event technically came behind Survivor in the ratings. For that reason, CBS was a winner with the viewers while NBC was on top with the demos.

Sarah PalinJoe Biden

In case you somehow managed to miss the banner headlines and television teasers, the Vice Presidential candidates will face off tonight. That’s right - and will share their vision for the future even as they publicly rip each other to shreds. I love the debates.

Don’t know where to watch this much-touted, long-anticipated event? Every major network, PBS, C-SPAN, CNN, FOX News and MSNBC will all be showing the coverage live - just start flipping channels and you’re bound to find it.

They’ll meet up at Washington University in St. Louis and square off on the important issues affecting the country….or, they’ll just both spit rhetoric and remain carefully ambiguous on all swing voter issues. No need to alienate all the maybes out there. Palin has been preparing for the at McCain’s Arizona retreat, while Biden has been at work in his Delaware home.

Obama and Biden React to SNL Impersonations

So we already know how the McCain camp feels about Saturday Night Live‘s Palin sketches. (Answer: “Sexist.”) We also know what the vice-presidential candidate thought about Tina Fey’s work. (She claimed the first parody was “hilarious,” though she only watched it with the volume off.) But what do the Democrats think of their impersonations?

In a joint interview with Entertainment Tonight, Barack Obama and Joe Biden (alongside their wives) react to the SNL sketches. While they don’t specifically address the content of the spoofs, they do seem to take it all in stride.
