+ As you're marking off the days on your calendar until True Blood premieres, the internet is bubbling with gossip surrounding the final season of the hit HBO vampire drama. One source even goes as far to claim that the writers have decided to pull a Joss Whedon and kill off a beloved character.
+ Rapper 50 Cent proves that he's got a comedic side to him, as he teams up with Jimmy Kimmel for a short spoof of Maleficent.
+ Photos of Gillian Jacobs on the set of Girls have surfaced, but viewers beware, as they're a bit of spoilers!
+ Although it originally seemed as though Matthew McConaughey would not return for futher seasons of True Detective (despite how wildly successful it was and how many folks raved about his performance as Rust Cohle), the Dallas Buyers Club star has stated that he's wants to come back for more!
Although two months have passed since HBO's freshman crime drama True Detective aired its season finale, fans can't let go of the rumors surrounding the next season!
Fortunately for them, creator and showrunner Nic Pizzolatto - who wrote all eight episodes of the first season - took to a podcast interview to confirm some of the season 2 speculation.
As it had already been announced that Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson were not returning for the next season, gossip has it that there will be three leads - two men and a woman - which Pizzolatto did not confirm, but did say that he's "deeply in love with each of them."
Pizzolatto did reveal that the show will take place in California: “Not Los Angeles, but some of the much lesser-known venues of California. And we’re going to try to capture a certain psycho-sphere ambiance of the place, much like we did in season one.”

Naya Rivera has reportedly been fired from Glee.
The 27-year-old actress has reportedly been given the boot from the show after a blazing row with FOX's producers over her co-star Lea Michele's "diva antics" earlier this month, according to the New York Daily News newspaper.
Not only has the brunette beauty been axed from the musical show, it is also believed she's been "written out" of program's fifth season finale, PopWrapped reports. Naya's future on the show was questioned when she reportedly stormed off set on April 15 after the "Cannonball" singer, whose boyfriend and on-screen love interest Cory Monteith tragically passed away last year, reportedly made the rest of the cast wait to shoot a scene as she dealt with personal matters.
However, it is believed the stars have been "icy" towards each other for a while. "Naya is jealous that Lea is the show's main star. There is a lot of sighing and eye-rolling between them. They talk behind each other's backs a lot," an insider said.
Bruce Jenner is eager to be a contestant on Dancing With the Stars.
The 64-year-old retired athlete, whose stepchildren Kim and Rob Kardashian have both previously competed on the reality series, is in talks to take part in the upcoming 18th season. "He's dying to do it. The show is close to locking him in," a source said.
Meanwhile, the Olympic gold medallist's sons Brandon and Brody Jenner are said to be very supportive of his recent decision to reduce the size of his Adam's apple. Bruce, who separated from his wife Kris Jenner in October after 22 years of marriage, reportedly underwent a "laryngeal shave" procedure in Beverly Hills on Sunday to soften the feature of his neck, which is typically done on patients who are in the first stage of gender reassignment.
"The boys don't think their father is trying to become a woman and simply laugh at rumors. They do believe that Bruce became more conscience of his physical appearance and how he looked after Keeping Up With The Kardashians premiered. They blame their stepmother [Kris] for all of the plastic surgery he has had over the years. Kris always encouraged Bruce to have his face nipped and tucked. He has had plastic surgery to remove excess fat above his eyelids. The Adam's apple surgery is just following in that pattern," a source said.
Lena Dunham wants Jamie Dornan to star on Girls.
The actress-and-director would have loved the Irish 50 Shades of Grey hunk to share some steamy sex scenes with the cast of her hit TV show, but fears his high profile casting as S&M-loving billionaire Christian Grey has made him off-limits to get up close and personal with any of the characters. "Allison [Williams] wants Zac Efron. [We] requested Jamie Dornan, but the thing is, [we] requested him post-50 Shades of Grey casting. He's amazing, but I just feel it's too late," she said, speaking at a Girls premiere.
Gleeks, prepare yourself for
Nate Archibald Chace Crawford!
The former Gossip Girl star is rumored to be appearing in the popular Fox series for its milestone 100th episode. To no one's surprise, an insider says that he'll be playing Quinn Fabray's love interest: "[Chace] will play Dianna Agron's boyfriend, whom she brings back to Lima to meet her friends." Also not surprising (hey, we've never heard him - can you blame us!) is that "his character will not be singing -- as of now."
Considering the fact that he's no stranger to teen dramas, the 28-year-old star seems to have fit in on the Glee set among his friends: "Chace is excited to work with [series co-creator] Ryan Murphy and his longtime friend Matthew Morrison... He knows most of the other cast as well."
Glee's 100th episode will air in two parts on March 18 and March 25.

Renee Zellweger is being lined-up to appear on Dancing with the Stars.
Bosses for the reality show are keen to pull out all of the stops for the next season by choosing celebrity contestants who have all won Oscars, and they believe securing Renee - who took home the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for her role in Cold Mountain in 2003 - will encourage other stars to sign up.
"Renee is being seen as the lynchpin contestant that would seal the deal for the theme season. The producers are fixated on Renee, in part because she hasn't done much dancing at all since Chicago more than 10 years ago and there's this real mystery about her and what she's up to. They keep raising the amount of money they are willing to give her in the hope that she'll say yes, and the theory is that if they can get her to sign on, then it would attract some other really prominent Oscar winning stars - who wouldn't normally do reality TV - to fall in step," a source said.
Ratings for the ABC program have decreased in recent seasons after producers only wanted celebrities with little dancing experience to take part, but they believe a talent like Renee's could boost viewings. "Now that the rule that stars had to be total dance novices has been broken, it opens the door wide for someone like Renee, who hoofed it in Chicago, to strut her stuff. The DWTS masterminds think the idea of having a theme of Oscar winners would be a sure ratings-grabber," the source explained.
Emma Thompson would have "loved" to have become the first female time lord in Doctor Who.
The Oscar-winning actress denied speculation that she was offered the role given to The Thick of It actor Peter Capaldi, but said she would have jumped at the chance to join the BBC series.
"I would have said 'yes,' I'd have loved to have played Doctor Who. Maybe women need their own kind of new time traveling person?" she said, appearing alongside former Doctors Matt Smith and David Tennant on The Graham Norton Show.
On the upcoming 50th anniversary episode "The Day of the Doctor," the tenth Doctor David and eleventh Matt remain tight-lipped about the show's plot and only revealed Peter will "join at Christmas."
Victoria Beckham wants to guest star on Girls.
The 39-year-old star reportedly told the show's creator Lena Dunham how much she loves the latest series of the comedy drama series and that she'd love to make an appearance. Lena, 27, is open to the idea of the former Spice Girl being on the show and has an idea for her to have a cameo as herself.
"Victoria said she would love a cameo in the next season. Lena said she would love that and work on creating a suitable role - most likely, Vic playing herself," a source said.
Victoria also plans to introduce her two-year-old daughter Harper - her child with husband David Beckham - to the show when she is old enough.
Lindsay Lohan is in serious talks to star in a new TV series.
The 27-year-old actress, who completed 90 days of court-ordered treatment in rehab at the end of July and is determined to get her career back on track, has been approached by Danny McBride to star in a comedy he is developing for HBO. A source told gossip website TMZ.com that Lindsay really hit it off with the actor and producer, 36, when she filmed a cameo role for his show Eastbound & Down recently and he was so impressed with her work ethic that he thinks she is the perfect actress to work on his upcoming project.
Danny is developing the comedy series that will revolve around a high school with his producing partner Jody Hill. The Canyons star apparently loves the concept and is really hoping it works out.
The Mean Girls actress has enjoyed a career renaissance since leaving Cliffside rehab center in Malibu last month. Lindsay has successfully guest-hosted Chelsea Lately, as well as pouring her feelings out to Oprah Winfrey in a revealing interview. The star has also inked a $2 million deal with Oprah and her OWN network to make an eight-part documentary about the ups and downs of her career.
