NBC Lines Up Another Celeb-Reality Show

NBC trying its hardest to find that special celeb-realityBecause we can apparently never have enough celebrity reality shows, NBC is currently developing yet another one.

Realizing that perhaps the very out there circus atmosphere was not their forté, producers have opted to focus on resorting to what they do best: partying!

Well, okay, maybe not the Paris Hilton kind of party, but the more formal kind. A typical episode for Celebrity Come Dine With Me will feature one celebrity who hosts a dinner party for his or her famous friends. At the end of the night, the party will be judged on presentation, food, and entertainment value.

Sounds kind of lame to you, too, right? I mean, I love watching celebrities, but watching them eat and be entertained doesn’t interest me all too much. I say that knowing that the show has found “success” in 16 other countries.

Illeana DouglasFinally… there’s a show that promises to showcase celebrity junk! Where do I sign up? When it comes to celebrities, I must know everything—so why not see their junk too? is the network to pull it off, with their upcoming series , created and hosted by . Do celebs really have garage sales? Well, I can recall Whitney Houston sold a bunch of her junk and didn’t too? Douglas will uncover the best celeb garage sales in this unscripted pilot—well, at least her celeb friends anyway, which in the pilot is . When Reality Stars Procreate

Jonny FairplayOK, this one just baffles me. Survivor: Pearl Island contestant Jonny Fairplay and girlfriend Michelle Deighton of America’s Next Top Model are expecting. A baby. Together. That is not to say that normal folk can’t have a love child with a model—I’m just baffled that anyone would find Fairplay attractive enough to want to have his baby. This is the guy who lied about his grandma dying while he was a contestant on Survivor just to get further in the game. A real stand up guy, right? The two have apparently been dating for two years while Fairplay (aka Jon Dalton) continues to s-t-r-e-t-c-h his 15 minutes of fame by wrestling (huh? you read that right) and appearing on CMT’s Ty Murray’s Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge. Deighton didn’t make it very far in the fourth season of Top Model, where she contracted some kind of skin disease which sent the models into a tizzy because they had shared makeup with Deighton (it ended up being impetigo). She too has appeared on WWE Friday Night Smackdown. According to TMZ.com, Deighton is 17 weeks pregnant.
