‘Chelsea Lately’ End Date Confirmed

Chelsea Handler's talk show will end on August 26.
The 39-year-old presenter - who confirmed in March she intended to leave Chelsea Lately at the end of her contract - will depart E! three months before her current agreement comes to an end, and is delighted with the work she did for the network.
"I myself am more surprised than anyone that I was able to hold down a job for seven years, and it was a fantastic seven years. I will always look back at my time on E! as most people look back at their time in college. I'm glad I went," she said in a statement.
Suzanne Kolb, the president of E!, praised the star for adding "a distinct voice to late night with her acerbic wit and fearless commentary."

VIDEO: True Blood’s Sam Trammell on His Scene with Moyer

If you’re a follower of True Blood, the phrase “Sam Merlotte and Bill Compton” would probably bring one particular scene to mind. A pretty hot scene from Season 2 that only involved those two men.
In this recent interview with Chelsea Handler, actor Sam Trammell (Merlotte) - who says he “loved” shooting that moment with Stephen Moyer - recalls a funny joke they played on the poor stand-ins involved with the filming.

Chelsea Handler Gets a New Show

If you’re not familiar with Chelsea Handler, she had her own show on E! Entertainment Television called The Chelsea Handler Show (how appropriate). The point is, she is really funny and obnoxious and I always enjoy seeing her pop up on one of those E! 101 Celebrity XYZ shows. So it seems her previous show did pretty well, because E! is exploring new territory with her in an hour-long late-night show called Chelsea Lately beginning in July. She’ll look at hot topics, have guests, viewers calling in and more. You may have also caught her on Oxygen’s show, Girls Behaving Badly. I imagine her new show will be similar to David Spade’s Showbiz Show, but I could be wrong. At any rate, I’ll be checking it out because a) I really like her, and b) it’ll be the middle of summer when there’s nothing else to watch!
