MONDAY (8/24)
- Dating in the Dark (ABC, 9pm): Season finale. “In the first season closer, an ex-FBI profiler assists the contestants.” Let’s hope proper background checks were part of his services.
- The Rachel Zoe Project (Bravo, 10pm): Season premiere. “Season 2 opens with celeb stylist Rachel Zoe and her mod squad assigned to dress up five actresses for the Golden Globe awards. Meanwhile, a slumping economy affects the rich and famous when the production of couture gowns drops.” In other news: Us Weekly will devote an entire issue to dresses worn twice.
- Hoarding (A&E, 10pm): “A woman whose children were removed from her home because of her hoarding wants to clean her home so that her children can return.” Until then, she’ll manage with the few children she kept hidden underneath the clothes.
- Nurse Jackie (Showtime, 10:30pm): “The movie reviewer awakens from his coma to find that his critical senses have been radically altered.” Fortunately, his ability to sniff out crap was insured by Lloyd’s of London.

Enter Force Investigation Division bigwig Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell), whose merciless snooping upends Brenda’s investigation.” Brenda better watch out—this one stands with fist!
- Dating in the Dark (ABC, 10pm): Series premiere. “In the opener of a dating reality show in which contestants meet and get acquainted in a completely dark room, the contestants are given an article of clothing belonging to one of their dates.” Thankfully, Ed Hardy t-shirts can’t be seen with the lights off.

- Great American Road Trip (NBC, 8pm): New day. “The six remaining families hit the road, leaving the Gateway Arch in St. Louis and skirting through Missouri, where they land in Branson to perform skits before crooner Andy Williams and comic Yakov Smirnoff.” Apparently, the families also journey back several decades.
- Secret Life of the American Teenager (ABC Family, 8pm): “Amy needs assistance with her chaotic schedule, so her dad and sister lend her a hand.” When the supportive applause died down, she put the baby back to sleep.
- The Bachelorette (ABC, 8pm): “Jillian arrives on Maui with the three remaining bachelors, all of whom she says she loves.” Yes - and Jason Mesnick said he loved Melissa. We know how this goes.

MONDAY 5/18)
- 24 (FOX, 8pm): Two-hour finale. “Jack reaches an emotional breaking point.” I would advise everyone to stay out of head-butting range from Bauer.
- The Bachelorette (ABC, 9pm): Season premiere. “Jillian Harris, the 29-year-old Canadian who was a runner-up for the heart of 2009 Bachelor Jason Mesnick, gets a new perspective on the rose ceremony.” She plans on being much more selective about those she
jumps into hot tubs withhands stems to. - Table for 12 (TLC, 9pm): “The Hayes family embarks on a 420-mile road trip to Canada.” The free health care will make up for the cost in gas.

- Samantha Who? (ABC, 9:30): “Sam invites boyfriend Owen (James Tupper) for dinner to meet her parents, but Owen and Howard don’t hit it off.” Seems Howard doesn’t approve of his relationship with Anne Heche either.
- Valkyrie: The Plot to Kill Hitler (History, 10pm): “Recalling Operation Valkyrie, a failed plot devised by German officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler.” By choosing this documentary over the Tom Cruise version, you’ll be able to save a few more bucks for Christmas.
- The Hills (MTV, 10pm): “Audrina confronts Lauren and Justin after rumors circulate that the two hooked up.” By “confront,” we mean Audrina has them refer to the television interviews she’s conducted on the topic.

- America’s Toughest Jobs (NBC, 9pm): Series premiere. “Average Joes perform dangerous and physically demanding jobs in this competition series. The winner is awarded the annual salary of each job completed.” Aren’t Average Joes the ones already performing these jobs?

- The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All (ABC, 9pm): “Fifteen of DeAnna’s suitors dish with - and about - the Bachelorette who let them get away.” Thankfully, this version is not the one we would get on MTV.
- 46664: A Concert for Nelson Mandela (VH1, 9pm): Those helping to celebrate Mandela’s life outside bars include performers who should be behind them (e.g. Amy Winehouse).
- Verminators (Discovery, 10pm): “The source of a roach infestation at an apartment building shocks Mike.” There’s a reason why they say ignorance is bliss.
