SNL Books Jesse Eisenberg ... and Dana Carvey

Saturday Night Live has booked a Studio 8H newbie -- and an alum -- for its next two episodes.

At the end of the month, Social Network star Jesse Eisenberg will take a break from the awards ceremonies to front the late-night program. Eisenberg's appearance will reunite him with two of his Adventureland costars: Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader.

Nicki Minaj will be the musical guest on the January 29 taping.

The following weekend, longtime SNL fans will welcome a blast from the past: Church Lady Dana Carvey. Carvey, a fixture on the program for seven seasons, will make his fourth appearance as host.

Dana will be joined by Linkin Park on the February 5 broadcast.

Guests Line Up for Tonight Show’s New Start

Will Ferrell might not be interested in visiting The Tonight Show anytime soon, but there are plenty of other celebrities who are still willing to promote themselves

support Jay Leno.

Based on the star-studded list released by NBC, Leno’s booking department is having an easy time finding guests for his return to late night—but will the viewers actually be tuning in to watch them?
