Catching up on missed ABC programs will soon become that much easier.
Thanks to a deal that is still being finalized, programs ranging from Lost to General Hospital will eventually be made available on Hulu. ABC, owned by Disney, will now become the third major network (alongside NBC and FOX) to allow ad-supported webstreaming of their shows via the site.

American Idol 8: iTunes Stats Revealed
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, FOX, American Idol, Gossip

In case you somehow missed the massive promotion, iTunes is partnered with American Idol. Every week, you can download tracks as sung by the contestants themselves, studio versions of the ditties they sing on the big Idol stage. The iTunes data, however, isn’t (supposed to be) released during the Idol season - doing so might reveal too much about who’s hot and who’s not on the show.
But iTunes has slipped up in the past and “accidentally” released these stats. Predictably, it’s happened again. Of the current crop of competitors, it seems that Adam Lambert is resoundingly the most downloaded, with Kris Allen coming in at number two.
Matt Giraud is currently in the lowest position as far as iTunes standings go.

Entourage Available on iTunes
After four years on air, Entourage fans will finally be getting another way to watch the cable series.
As of today, Seasons 1 and 2 of the comedy have already been available to iTunes users. The third season will hit the online market on August 18; the fourth arrives the week after that.
If you’re hoping iTunes can spare you from subscribing to HBO, you may be out of luck. If you want to watch your episodes in a timely fashion, you’ll have to cough up the dough. While Season 5 will eventually be available for download, it won’t be placed online until the DVD’s release.
Mark your calendars for the crew’s return on September 7.

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, FOX, American Idol, News

Even though American Idol ended officially wrapped up four days ago, there are many fans still caught up in the show’s fever. Apparently this week’s constant coverage has not yet tired a good number of David worshippers.
As of right now, iTunes users have given winner David Cook four spots on the site’s Top 10. His performance of ‘The Time of My Life’ (from the finale) is currently perched at #1. Meanwhile, his recent covers of “Dream Big”, “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” and “The World I Know” are all taking space at the top of the pack.

The Beatles and iTunes - Forever Separate?
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, FOX, American Idol, Gossip
The legal issues (which boiled down to a trademark dispute) between Apple, Inc. (the computer company) and Apple Corps. (the recording label which supports The Beatles) was solved way back in February of 2007. A year has gone by, and recent rumors suggested that Beatles tunes would at long last be made available in the iTunes catalogue.
Apple, Inc., however, has called these rumors “unsubstantiated speculation” while Apple Corps is issuing a “no comment” approach. The deal has been in the works for months, with Paul McCartney saying he expected Beatles tunes to become available through Apple, Inc. sometime in early 2008. Well…we’re waiting. What’s the deal here, Apples?
Both sides could be holding out until just the right moment to make the announcement, releasing the tunes when it seems most opportune. Perhaps…during a live broadcast of TV’s most popular show? If you want to know the fate of Beatles tracks on iTunes, American Idol might be the series to watch for breaking musical news.
