The Office: ‘Launch Party’

The Office keeps getting better has still got it – that much is certain. And while I do feel there is something off about this season, I still can’t put my finger on it, and it’s not enough to disrupt my enjoyment of the NBC comedy. The past two weeks, we saw a lot of interesting developments by way of relationships. As fans are aware, Jim and Pam are very much in love, Ryan and Kelly were over when Ryan got promoted and Dwight and Angela are in the midst of a very catty breakup. Oh, I went there. Yet another hour-long episode kicked off with Michael announcing to the staff that the Dunder Mifflin Infinite website was launching within the next 24 hours. In celebration, there would be a D.M. corporate party in New York City, which Michael had been invited to. All other branches would celebrate via webcam satellite parties which could be viewed by those at the New York gala.

‘Must See’ 30 Rock!

Posted by Wendy Michaels Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, NBC

Tina Fey It’s Thursday, October 4th and that can only mean one thing. The return of 30 Rock! I know I’m not alone in my love for Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and company, but to say I’m mildly obsessed with the series may be an understatement. Case in point, I made a reference to “The Rural Juror” the other day at a family gathering, which was meant mostly by blank stares (thankfully my sister-in-law got the joke!). So, after a long summer of waiting, 30 Rock is back, baby! And a full hour! And Jerry Seinfeld is making a guest appearance! Seriously… I may hyperventilate. My excitement could only be somewhat expressed by the use of many exclamation points in this post, but I will try to keep my wits about me and carry on professionally. Oh, who am I kidding?! 30 Rock!!! It’s back!!! And it’s not all about 30 Rock, because My Name is Earl and The Office are also on for an hour tonight (by the way, how cute are Jim and Pam?), so basically, for you comedy lovers, this is one great night of TV! And, thankfully, I can record Ugly Betty on DVR, which is another one of my favorites (although I probably don’t need quite so many exclamation points for that one).
