Someone Stole ‘Parks and Rec’ Memorabilia in Paris

A hardcore Parks and Recreation fan (or an insanely opportunistic eBay seller) seems to have disappointed fans of the show - as well as some of the stars themselves!
In the 100th episode of the NBC comedy, Amy Poehler's Leslie and her husband Ben (Adam Scott) travel to Paris and adorably left their own "Leslie and Ben <3" lock among the many others at the Pont des Arts. One fan happened to visit the site to see the lock and was appalled to find that someone had cut the fence and stolen the lock!

Quote of the Day: ‘Walking Dead’ Star Norman Reedus on ‘Portlandia’
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Comedy, Drama, Prime Time, Sci-Fi/Horror, Cable, Gossip,
"I love Portlandia! I would do that show, in a heartbeat. I would love that. You know when Saturday Night Live did a sketch of The Walking Dead, and Bill Hader played me? He invited me to the after-party, and Fred [Armisen] was there, and I was such a big fan, I just spent the entire time trying to hug Fred over and over and over again. I think he thought I was a complete weirdo. He might be scared of me now... I'm a hugger, too. But it was literally like seven hugs, and he was looking at me like, 'Again? You want to hug again?' I might have hugged him to death. But I love the feminist bookstore skit. I love that whole show. It's awesome."

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Drama, Cable, Gossip, Internet,
Breaking Bad has won the hearts of many critics and viewers everywhere, and now Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins has made it a point to declare his admiration for its star, Bryan Cranston, and the rest of the cast.
In a letter addressed to Mister Cranston - which was posted on the show's Facebook by Cranston's co-star Steven Michael Quezada - Hopkins writes, "I’ve just finished a marathon of watching Breaking Bad from episode one of the first season – to the last eight episodes of the sixth season. I have never watched anything like it. Brilliant! Your performance as Walter White was the best acting I have seen – ever. I know there is so much smoke-blowing and sickening ######## in this business, and I’ve sort of lost belief in anything really. But this work of yours is absolutely stunning."

Fans Help Greenlight ‘Veronica Mars’ Movie
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, UPN, Cancellations, Internet, News,
Veronica Mars may have been cancelled six years ago, but fans are still just as ardent as ever to see a continuation of the UPN/CW series.
Series creator Rob Thomas took to the popular online fundraising site Kickstarter to generate interest and funds in seeing a big screen sequel to the show, which starred Kristen Bell as the title character.
"A two million dollar fundraising total probably means cross words are exchanged at the class reunion. Three million? We can afford a full-on brawl. Ten million? Who knows... For some reason the Neptune High class reunion takes place on a nuclear submarine! A Hobbit shows up! There’s a Bollywood end-credit dance number! I’ve always wanted to direct Bill Murray. We’ll figure out something cool. Hey, if that total goes high enough, I’ll bet the good folks at Warner Bros. will agree a sequel is a good idea," Thomas wrote on the project's Kickstarter page.
Miraculously, fans pulled through, raising over $2.8 million in less than 12 hours.

The What to Expect When You're Expecting actress loves to relax in front of the TV watching her favorite show - a fantasy adventure series - which she likes because she finds it "really romantic.
"I'm really obsessed with Game of Thrones. I find it really romantic. I love that it's epic historical fiction with a supernatural element," she said.
As well as watching TV, Anna also enjoys cooking and claims her creme brulee dessert is one of her best secrets because it is such an impressive dish: "My best kept-secret. It's so simple to make, yet people are always so impressed. Vanilla is underrated."
The Up in the Air beauty admitted her fear of crowds means she is unable to do some things she wants, such as seeing singer Azealia Banks perform live. "Azealia was recommended to me by a friend. If I was better at crowds, I'd love to see her live but I'll probably just be watching online."
American Idol Rejects Fan: Too Fat for Front Row
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, FOX, American Idol, Gossip,
Ashley Kauffman, 19, says she was kicked out of the front row of American Idol recently. Two staffers approached her and one said “Oh no, you’re too big, too heavy to be in front!” Kauffman, a college student, and 5 of her girlfriends had received free tickets to the live show from friends who found themselves unable to attend.
Kauffman, excited about her unexpected good fortune, went out shopping to buy a brand-new outfit. “I didn’t think I looked too bad,” she told the Daily Mail UK. Rather than the front-row seats they were ticketed to have, Ashley and two of her friends were moved to the back of the theater.
She weighs around 150 and stands at 5’2”, and while it’s not likely she’ll walk a runway in Milan, Kauffman is by no means obese. She admitted to being hurt by the treatment she received at the show; she’s speaking out because she wants an apology from Idol, and she wants to prevent other women from suffering the same fate.

Milo Ventimiglia Cuts His Hair, Upsets Fans
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Sci-Fi/Horror, NBC, Heroes, Gossip, News,
Milo Ventimiglia has come under fire for cutting his hair.
His latest cropped-style is a big departure from his usual floppy look and the Heroes star admits some of his fans have been upset about his change of appearance.
“Some fans seem to hate it but I needed to grow up. I have had fans come up to me demanding to know what I have done with my hair.”
The 32-year-old actor - who previously dated his Heroes co-star Hayden Panettiere - also revealed he is now too old to play teenage roles so needed to change his looks in order to get offered more roles.
“I think there was a moment where my Heroes character Peter Petrelli needed to step out of the lost little boy kind of innocent persona. It also coincided at a point in my life where I can’t play these young teen roles anymore, but I still look young so I’m like what do I do? I’ll just pack on some weight and cut my hair. It helped.”
Chris Cornell Reacts to American Idol Song Choice
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, FOX, American Idol, Gossip,
American Idol rock-n-roller David Cook sang his way into the Top 9, but in the doing may have upset some Chris Cornell fans.
Cook played Cornell’s version of the Michael Jackson classic “Billie Jean” during Tuesday night’s performance episode, earning him high praise from judges. But the Chris Cornell fans weren’t so pleased. After Cook’s performance, all three Idol judges praised his creativity. Randy Jackson called him “original” and “bold,” Paula Abdul said he was “brilliant,” and even Simon Cowell found it “brave” and “amazing.” Here’s the rub: there wasn’t anything original in either the arrangement of the song, or the way Cook sang it.
